STEM Course Reform

Since the project launched in 2014, REBUILD multi-generational teams have infused evidence-based teaching methods into large, introductory courses in Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics.  Multi-generational teams harness the talents and roles of faculty, postdocs, GSIs , and undergraduate students in collaboration with educational professionals such as instructional designers and instructional technology specialists.

Our ongoing reform of Michigan’s introductory Physics lecture and laboratory is a pilot project for the Foundational Course Initiative.
